Also, I can hear her tapping the inside of the shell, but not breaking it. Is that normal?

I think a clicking sound is normal

you should be able to tell most around 5 weeks. The males will grow obviously large redder combs.

My broody hens hatched out 10/10 eggs in june. I know for certain that I have 3 roosters. Hope I don't end up with more
