4 Month old Pekin, Really sick, Swollen leg

STILL SICK!! He is not getting better. It has to be his legs. Both his legs are severely damaged somehow, That has to be the only thing keeping him this way. He tries to stand on his ankles.

We really don't want to put him down, but if there is no other solution to helping him its the only option.

I just tried examining his legs, his right leg seems to be swollen, and at the upper most join, which connects to his body seems to be very swollen and large, I tried wrapping both his legs with a warm Epsom salt rag, but he just moves out of it. He seems very weak and tries to walk with his beak. When we take him out of the water, he his shivering. The best solution right now would to put him down. If anybody has any ideas, please let me know.

He sounds like he has a systemic infection and needs antibiotics. A vet would be best.

@Amiga He died last night, we're burying him now, we appreciated your tremendous help. he was a very tough duck and it's so unfortunate that we couldn't help him. He's in a better place now.
