Hi all please help!
I took these four chicks from one of my Kinder teachers who has chickens and also hatches eggs yearly for her students. She implied they were all hens but as they’re growing and I’m learning more I’m concerned that they are all roosters 😢
They are all about 6 weeks old
Pics 1-3 Brown Sussex
Pics 4-6 red silkie
Pics 7-9 *Silver laced Wyandotte
pics 10-13 *Blue Laced Red Lacey (I’m convinced is a roo)

That "silkie" is probably a mix of some sort. Silkies are supposed to have a crest on the head, a walnut comb (vs. the single comb that chick has), and black skin (legs, feet, face, comb, beak--everything should be black except the feathers and the eyes.)

Thank you! I forgot about the black skin. Now I’m super curious!

Speckled Sussex is a pullet
Silkie/cochin mix is also a pullet
Silver Wyandotte is a cockerel
And the last is also a cockerer (it's looks like also a Wyandotte breed or mix)

7 week old update!
