My point here is choice. If I wanted to breed Brahmas I could. Once, birds leave your hands, I don't think you can expect to control what other people do with them.
Also, the laced birds only have a single gene that separates silver from gold laced, and gold laced from buff laced. It is relatively easy to interminge the colors when you are breeding.
