4th Annual BYC NYD Hatch-a-long

Didn't some of you say you would be sending me fun eggs to hatch just because I'm such a great person?

I'm just trying to figure out if I need to find more eggs as all of mine are sold through Saturday.

How do we use the atomic clock? Not to sound like a total dunce, but I think G would be mad if I brought the computer to the basement. If it's for the first chick hatched, I'd be afraid to take it, still wet, out of the incubator, bring it upstairs to sit it on the computer (again, G wouldn't appreciate that one either, lol) for a picture. :/

More eggs going out tomorrow to be set next week. Checked out goose eggs this morning, we have 100% growth!

everyone else setting has good fertility and hatches with no bator issues or weather issues during December.

Okay, thank you! I doubt I'll have anything hatchiing out as the first chicks anyways. My duck eggs went in half an hour late, then their parents hatched out three days early anyways, when I hatched them out. I guess I'll have to count on the chicken eggs, which haven't been flowing very well lately, and the cornish fertility is questionable, lol. But, good luck to anyone who's hoping for the first chick!

Nope, that doesn't mean you can't participate. You bring the clock up on your computer and take a picture of the screen.

I'm in the same boat, so I got my wall clock and put it next to the incubator and then posted the video on YouTube setting the eggs into the incubator. hope this works. I have 3 more shipment of eggs. I hope these don't arrive frozen like the last two.

Jim, I would love to help with your egg numbers, but I am not getting any eggs. So I am going to a store that sells fertile eating eggs. At least I think I am, I still haven't completely made up my mind if I am hatching or not.

Good luck I hope you get lots!

Stick your cell phone in the pic showing the time. It shows "atomic" (satellite controlled) local time, which is what they are asking for.

I'd be willing to side-swap you for some of your NN project eggs (to ship later), but mostly what I have available right now will be quail & layer mixes (production birds covered by Cochin bantam roo). Not sure you would be interested in mine. My pure eggs have already been claimed for the next 12+ eggs or I would send you some pure bantams.
