I have pips! I don't know if this went through the first time, but I have 3 pips. All of the are in my RIRs. I hope my seramas start pipping soon.

Oh good, things are starting to happen for you too. Have you hatched seramas before, do they usually take a little longer? I haven't ever hatched any?

hmm, having a hard time getting my humidity up in this old still air. Had a 100% hatch with some barn yard mixes...12 out of 12 with this bator. I know I have the same water amount in as last time, so I am guessing it's the hydrometer read out. I think there is plenty of humidity in there, the still air holds it good. Crossing fingers for my Nankin to hatch! It looked good for lock down.

Got Ustream working again thank goodness but missed 3 of the 5 serama , only 2 serama eggs left to hatch and one cot egg.

ok guys i need your help. i have a chick that pipped early this morning/last night but it is struggling. I want to help it but it looks dry around where it has made a hole. Should i wet it down a little bit to help and then attempt to help it out? i don't want to hurt the chick i can see it's little beak and moving but hasn't made progress in the last 3 hrs. What should I do!
