Matt,
Thank you for the excitement and the miracle of hatching!!!
It's why I enjoy hatch a longs! We all get to share in the experience!

My sentiments exactly. It's so nice to have like-minded folks to run to and share with!I am so thankful I chose the Hatch-Along for my first attempt at incubating chicks. I have had a wonderful time...It was so nice knowing there were new friends waiting to share both the good and the not so great times throughout the whole adventure! It is a wonderful blessing and another wonderful miracle and I am so happy to have known this experience.
You glued your chick in the corner?

I would let it dry off and see if it improves ... their beaks are always growing so it may change. The newest little one hatching has an unusual beak. The bottom is longer than the top by a mm or two... Will it get better or worse as the chick grows? If it does get worse, is it still compatible with life??
Yay - how adorable! Hope you are feeling a little better. My slowpoke finally hatched this morning after having pipped early yesterday afternoon. Once it started to zip it was quick, but you could tell it was tired. So regardless of being sick and miserable.... I have been up about every two hours to check the bator... Sometime between 5:30 and 7:40, Chick number two hatched! This is the one that pipped right as I was wanting to go to bed... so glad I didn't wait for it.Interestingly enough, my first pip hasn't hatched yet...
