You should have a good hatch with your own eggs. 6 would be a good test hatch.

Ok. I found some Bantam Cochin eggs I really want, but if this hatch goes well, I will buy the Bantam Cochin eggs, and maybe some Orps too The total for the incubator will cost me $20.91 cents. Well, it should. Not bad

OH just went outside to collect eggs. 2 BCMs are laying eggs. Even better. I may get to fill the incubator with Marans and assorted colored Silkies.

Ron, there may be other hatch alongs, but THIS one is my favorite...really brings me 'up'. Do you think we should re-name it 'The Orp Hatch-a-long'?

I think there are 'unofficial' hatch a longs pretty much every month and I do think they have a 'big' one at Easter too.

The Easter Hatch-A-Long is huge...and FUN! Then there's the Cinco de Mayo Hatch-A-Long right after that!

Found 6 eggs yesterday.....................

The little stickers moved their nest to under a blackberry bush overlapping into their pen.................
Why they chose this over the nice warm nest in their coop is their secret...........

Last year Happy Chooks hosted the Easter hatch. There is also a Mothers Day hatch and a Turkey hatch a long. The Monthly hatch a longs are fun too and sometimes there are just "I set on" hatches.

All of them are fun too.
