Alongside my marans eggs I think I'll pick up a carton of fertile eggs from whole foods, just for fun!

You will have a blast. Just check in a lot, the closer it gets to hatch day, the faster the thread will move, you can find yourself 5 pages behind if you don't check in. It's getting cold and peeps will be stuck in the house with nothing to do but talk chicken.

"any room for a newbie?"

I go on vacation from school on December 12th so I can set on December 11th, Probably a little later then noon and then have all of December off
I have not given up on my little foam incubator, I think that I have figured out that you keep it warmer because it is a still air and keep the lid on as much as possible.
Now to find some eggs. I would love some clean legged Bantams of some sort. maybe some OEGB or a barnyard mix.....I love the misfits. So I guess you can count me in but get ready for a GAZILLION questions. I have never had a successful hatch.
