6.5 week old chicks with large bloody wounds

Hi all! Our 6.5 week old chicks have developed these sores/wounds
They have now been separated from flock

Those look like severe pecking wounds. Pecking is generally from not enough room or protein.

How are you keeping them, and what are the ages of the other chickens? How many birds in how big of a coop or run? Those are severe peck wounds, and I would separate the wojnded chickens. Clean wounds with 1/2 strength Hibiclens or Betadine, or get some Vetericyn wound spray at the feed store, and clean wounds twice daily. Apply plain Neosporin or Triple Antibiotic ointment twice a day to keep wounds from drying out or getting infected. No bandaging.

I would say the birds are hungry or just overly aggressive with each other. They either need more food or room
