6 week old chick with a balloon crop

She said it could of came from old food that may have been wet or it could be from just her body not keeping up with the good bacteria. Just like in humans. We have good bacteria and bad bacteria and sometimes they just get out of whack. So hopefully this does the trick for her and she recovers.

The little chick is still hanging in there. Doing good just not huge improvements. Her crop is still massive. This will be day 5 of the antibotics. Hoping to see some big improvements soon.

How did your chick go? I'm having this issue now with one of mine

She's slowly improving. She's starting to act a lot more normal. It's been 7 days since her first dose of antibiotics. Her crop is still huge so she's not out of the woods yet.

Took her to the vet this morning and she did X-rays and didn't find anything abnormal. The little chick is acting normally just still has a large crop. She said to up the doseage of the antibiotics and continue it for 14 days.
