a couple questions regarding my silkies.
We are leaving for a few days. They are inside my house (3 silkie chicks, 6 weeks old) and I have a neighbor checking on them during our time away.
Are they old enough to not need a light anymore?

My second question is can anyone tell (I’m aware it’s sometimes impossible) if these are all pullets?
There are 2 with really tall, black crops. One of the chicks is very large compared to the other two.

Another question, can they have treats/snacks like mashed pumpkin or eggs scrambled?
Thanks!

If they are in a warm house, they should be weaned off heat by now.
Get the feed and water off the floor, brick or piece of 2x4 works well, and it'll stay cleaner.

Thank you! I have no doubt they’ll be fine :)
Their water hangs and their feed is on a block now.

At this age anything would be a guess, but the light colored one looks pullets. Post pics again in couple of weeks. Yes they can have treats. Not slot and not all the time. I give my silkies a treat every other day, after they've had their regular food. Beautiful babies, :love
