ya mine dont seem to be really utilizing the heat lamp.. I have been turning it off during the day since two days ago..and they seem fine I turn it back on at night when I am not there monitoring it as regularly as I do during the day........but they dont seem overly stressed about it or anything they arent chirping more or huddling together because they are cold.........I dont know if it's cuz of the heat lamp or just growing but they sure have seemed to pop out with the feathers now like within 24 hours big difference.... mine dont peck at my hands they try to leap onto it lol...it's kinda interesting they seem to have an order when to be picked up.........I started noticing it maybe it's a pecking order thing I dunno........ but since I noticed they seem to be following the pattern.. I put my hand ion and one will jump up.. I'll handle em a bit cuddle spread their wings get them use to being touched and handled then put them back and the next one climbs onto my hand........
