Way back... maybe 15 years ago? DH was going through some stuff and found pictures of some guns that were stolen a few years earlier. He gave the photos to the kids, DD took one to school and gave it to a boy in her class (maybe 2nd grade?). That night, this little boys mother called and yelled at DH about it. I mean she really was yelling. A bit over the top I think, though it was certainly her right to try to keep her son from knowing that guns exist or something.
North Dakota is one of a few states with bills introduced to allow concealed carry in the schools (and churches) with prior approval. http://bismarcktribune.com/news/loc...cle_c3e0a48e-7f92-11e2-8024-001a4bcf887a.html I truly doubt the schools up here would suspend a kid for making his food into the shape of a gun.
