7th Annual BYC New Year's Day 2016 Hatch-A-Long

Hello all, thanks for the warm thoughts and prayers. Pops is doing good. Very sore this morning, his knee is the size of a grapefruit and everything feels bruised but he's very positive.

Uglybator is looking good, I have been turning my eggs every time I come up the stairs for something, I was amazed when someone said a hen does it 20+ Times a day, so I figured I'd try! Haha. Temp is running 99.5-100.6 and humidity reads 36% and 40% depending on what thermometer you look at

. So everything is looking great! I have a really nice speckled egg that I really hope hatches a nice little hen!

my Pops was in a pretty bad accident on his way to bring me the rest of the hatching eggs and join me for birthday dinner. The ambulance told him he should stay but he didn't want to. His knee is pretty banged up and I think she has a concussion because he was a little spacey and Had fuzzy vision in I one eye. The hatching eggs were splattered across his jeans. So that's that. Please send prayers and positive thoughts. I am a little worried about him.

I am so sorry!

He is on my prayer list now.

No serial numbers on these ron..strangest thing.  They are pretty cheap on e-bay ad through amazon.  They just call them the 48 egg incubator.  ??  

I actually have this incubator and the manual is right in front of me. If you would like I can send you a picture of the pages. The buttons on mine are in different places, but I bet it operates the same way

My goose eggs arrived yesterday! Yay! While I was opening the box my boyfriend asked "how long until we have chicks?" I told him 2 ducklings should hatch next week. He said "Just two? I want a lot of chicks!" lol! He has built them a cute run in his shed/man cave and built thir coop outside (and for my ducks I already have). He always wants to let all the ducks out in the yard. He even build an "incubation office" for me upstairs ...he may be my worst enabler. Lol! I hope he remembers that he asked for "A lot of chicks" when I end up being able to hatch all the eggs...Lol!

Gonna set my eggs a few hours late because my bator usually starts hatching chicks the afternoon of day 20.
