8 "hens"

Does anyone know what is happening if your chicken is closing his eye consistently but then opening it very seldom ? I thought it might just be the wind, like it got something in his eye, but I'm not sure. Nothing else is weird about him, only just that thing with his eye. It's pretty windy, and he's a polish rooster, and I heard they don't like the wind very much.

Thanks

Try trimming the feathers out of his face....the ones that might be getting into his eyes. :)

I put him in my hens nesting boxes and he sat there, he was sheltered from the wind so his eye stopped being weird. I'm still not sure what it was, so it might've been his crown or dust. Thanks anyways! :thumbsup

Did someone say they didn't need a "Rooster" anymore well
I always do my fowl shopping on craigslist under farm stuff
something like that as my mind always go's blank when I see
such a fabulous "Rooster"

My chickens are in shade for all the Winter months. They have direct sunlight in the summer. I was wondering if they need direct sunlight everyday in the Winter months?
Thanks
