8-week old Cherry Egger pullet or cockerel?

So the older one (8 weeks, first one I posted about) is more likely a pullet and the younger one (7 weeks, in the most recent photos I posted) is a cockerel?

I orginially ordered these as just pullets from Cackle Hatchery, but it appears that maybe a rooster or two may have slipped in.

Anyone else have any ideas on either of the two?

I'm going to say the first one is a cockerel. Those curled tail feathers just don't look female. I hope you will post again later so we can see who was right. lol

I've noticed on the first one that his/her neck feathers are really shiny and the face is turning considerably red compared to the others, but his/her comb is still rather small. Here is more recent photos of the first pullet/cockerel:


He/she seems to have really thick, meaty legs compared to the others, is almost always on alert and stands quite upright.

And here is a photo of the other possible cockerel standing in front of a pullet. Unfortunately he/she has developed a huge bulge above his/her other eye.

Yeah, I'm beginning to lean towards pullet on the first one because of her tiny comb, but the other one I'm still unsure on, as he/she is developing very slow.
