I realize its a little early, but I'd like some feedback about my silkie GIRLS.

I'm choosing to think positive about these two because I so badly want to keep them. I'm feeling a little nervous though, because of how wide thier combs seem to be.

Ignore the dirty faces. The sillies have been eating tomato!

Edited cuz I 'posted' instead of 'previewed' -- I'm having such a difficult time resizing these pics!

Wow, Teresaann, ours look like quadruplets, don't they? We'll minus the tomato face.

Debiraymond, you are right. And they ARE the softest thing on the planet. Well... aside from bunnies. But they are aspiring to BE bunnies. I just love when they're pecking at the ground and that foofy little bunny tail is straight up in the air.

I was afraid you silkie experts were going to tell me at least one is a roo. Journey acts more roo-ish. Also, one thing I read is that often roos head feathers grow up and back instead of forward. Just like Journeys...

<sigh>

I'm keeing them till they crow!

Any more opinions?

Yes ours do look alot alike. I think you also have one roo and one hen. Thats what I am gonna do is wait till one crows and one lays but I live in the country and keep all the roos I want..LOL
