Absence makes the heart grow fonder....Set up a little pen for him where the hens can see him and keep them separate from them for a week. Then let him in with the girls. He should start breeding them within a couple of weeks. If not, then separate for a couple of days and then back in for a couple of days until the eggs go fertile.

Totally doing this tomorrow. Man, Hugo's gonna be MAD, lol.
 
Exciting times! A week ago my broody hatched a lone chick, the brooder is filled with 10 eggs...the other incubator did not arrive on time :( And there is one egg (that was the broody hens but she left it to care for the other chick) is due any day now...Maybe even today.

Geez, i have not been able to keep up with all the chat on this thread, i was hoping i could..
