Same. Now I have the 5 gallon waterer, I fill it like twice a week. I also have a 50lb capacity wall hanging feeder so I just put about a bag every 10 days in there. Got to love low maintenance.I had reagular waterers last year and they were such a pain. I had to fill them up every other day

Typically a chicken will eat about 1/4-1/3 of pelleted food a day. Bit more in the winter. What kind of feed are you offering? Or maybe they are wasting some on the ground?
