I had reagular waterers last year and they were such a pain. I had to fill them up every other day

Same. Now I have the 5 gallon waterer, I fill it like twice a week. I also have a 50lb capacity wall hanging feeder so I just put about a bag every 10 days in there. Got to love low maintenance.

Its AWSOME but, I have to feed every day because my hens eat alot

Typically a chicken will eat about 1/4-1/3 of pelleted food a day. Bit more in the winter. What kind of feed are you offering? Or maybe they are wasting some on the ground? Usually chickens don't over eat if allowed to free feed (excluding broiler breeds).
