Hi! I'm new! I posted this in "injuries" but someone suggested I post it here!

Anywho, I got two new ducklings to add to my flock! One duckling (we have yet to name) fell and hurt it's foot. Some nice person sent a photo of the anatomy of a duck, and it looks like the duckling's ankle is broken. The duckling can't straighten it's leg, but it can in water? The first day it hurt it, is was fine! It lost it's balance, but after a second, it ran around! Two days ago, I noticed it limped and seemed that it couldn't walk right. Yesterday, boom, it couldn't raise it's leg!

We didn't get chick starter, and the store ran out of duck and chick feed, so we're feeding our adult ducks and ducklings adult chicken feed. Yesterday we got chick starter. So, for the first five days, the ducklings didn't get the correct food.

We put a splint on it, but all the baby does it lay around and refuses to move a lot. It's friend is wild, and bumps into the hurt one constantly.

It's leg seems to be getting worse everyday! Sorry if this was scrambled, I'm just nervous! Thanks in advance for any help!

I can't post a video, it says it doesn't allow file extensions, or something? I'll get better pictures and videos in two hours, when they get on the porch and in their pool! The first picture is him trying to walk toward some food or water, the second is him "walking" to his water bowl, the last picture is him laying down with his makeshift splint! I wish I could send a video, I'll keep trying!
