I'll upload a video! I was just outside with them, and I took some more pictures! Here are the photos, and I'll be working on uploading a video! Sorry if some of the pictures are dark, we also took the splint off. They just got out of the pool. I read that Miss Lydia suggested not to let it walk, does that include swimming?

No swimming is okay that relieves pressure on the leg just keep it from jumping out of the pool. I am talking about just letting the duckling have open spaces where it might not rest enough. when we have an injury whether broken or sprained rest is what is recommended and physical therapy which would be the pool. Some good quality vitamins would also help too. What are you feeding the 2 little ones? What comes to mind is a B Complex vitamins so they are getting good quality niacin since niacin is what most water fowl are lacking is fed chick starter TSC has one in the cattle dept that is really good. they are precious.

Thank you! They're so friendly! We've been feeding them adult chicken feed, but switched to chick starter... they get worms (smushed) and peas. I'm new to ducks, my adult ones got chick starter with them, and they were older. We're going to the store today, so I'll pick some chick starter from TSC. I do want to say, though, that it fell the second day we got it? Could it have sprained it, or broken it? The other duckling is really wild and pushes the hurt one over... should we separate it?

Get the BComplex liquid while at TSC in cattle dept it will say injectable but can be given orally you will need a syringe with needle to draw the liquid out then you a can put over some worms (treats) to give to your ducklings.

We removed the splint! I got a video, before I took it off, it's not the best so I'll try again, but I'm uploading the video now! We noticed it was a bit swollen. It's getting worse. It has a hard time eating and drinking, because it's so unbalanced. Someone said peas are good for niacin, can we feed it lot's of peas?

Feed it peas yes but right now with this injury it’s needs a better way and it needs more than just niacin . You Don’t want peas to take the place of it’s feed though peas don’t have every vitamin growing ducks need .
