A Broken Duck Leg

It looks like it’s both legs on this little one and defiantly looks like a niacin deficiency which the B Complex can take care of pretty easy once you get them started on it? Probably injured too from the fall weak muscles is what happen when they are deficient. Can you get them on the BComplex liquid?

1 ml per duckling a day of the BComplex from TSC ,whether the legs will ever be 100% is questionable but we have see you some great recoveries using the BComplex this season so we have high hopes for your little duckling I’d give it to both of them just as precautionary on the other one. The quicker he gets started the quicker you’ll see recovery.

Yeah, we'll get B Complex, for sure! Will that return it's legs to normal, or just stop it from getting worse? Sorry I ask so many questions, I just really want to do everything right! My adult ducks are only three months old!
It will help his legs go back to normal. Here is a link about why ducks need niacin to help you understand better. This was hard for me to understand too so no worries. Just so you know Niacin is the same a Vitamin B3 (I think). https://www.fresheggsdaily.com/2018/05/ducks-need-niacin-aka-ducks-love-peas.html

Do go get the b complex and you might also want to get some Purina Flock Raiser. No more adult chicken food!

I just have one last question, then I should be set!

Should I separate the two ducklings? I asked this before, but I want to specify more of the reason.

The hurt duckling struggles with drinking/eating, and then the other pushes it over. I can just feed the hurt one separately. However, the hurt wants to lay down constantly, and I've noticed the other nearly climbs over the hurt one...? The wild one bites at the beak of the hurt one... just worried something bad would come of it. I love them both so much!

I suppose this is two questions, but; is there a limit on how many threads I can make? I have so many questions, the first three ducks I got basically raised themselves (they were older), so now that I have new baby ducks, I have a lot of questions...

Ask all the questions you want that’s what BYC is here for. If the hurt duckling is getting stepped on and pushed over them might be a good idea to separate except for pool time . Is there any way you can set them up so they can still see each other but the hurt one isn’t getting knocked around?

I don't think we could separate them and have something they could see each other through, we might could buy something! I'll try to observe them more, normally they get riled up whenever a human is near them, so maybe if we're not in there the wild one isn't so wild. I'll give them B Complex, let them swim but not run around!

I love BYC, it's really nice to know people won't judge if I ask a million questions! I have to go and let my adult ducks out to free range! Thanks to everyone who replied or helped! Any advice, or just nice words, was appreciated! <3
