I am giving "cookie" away this afternoon. I sent my DW a text telling her he was leaving and she did not reply, so that means she agrees and thinks it is a good thing.

I think you will be in trouble this afternoon .

DH erroneously thought that he might get to eat one of my new babies at some point down the road. He now understands that if he wants fresh turkey, he should contact "that guy he knows down the road with turkeys" and order one for holiday meals.

I hope your right on the no reply. Usually my dw doesn't reply back. I usually said the wrong thing or said something she didn't want to hear.

I found her a great home let me repost the post I put on the MN thread where she was traded..:

When they are fully feathered they do not need heat. I do not use heat at 4 weeks. BTW Anyone want a Turkey Poult 2 days old, named "Cookie"....sigh

I have a single peachick that is very lonely. I would take your turkey poult. I sent you a PM

Followed by this response after I told Cookie about the move:



I told Cookie he/she was moving today. She/he did not believe it.. Wanted to read the post to make sure she/he was really going to have to move..


First she shut off the TV she was watching:





Then she/he opened the BYC index:



Then she read and reread the post showing her being traded..






She then turned to me and let me have it, a huge guilt trip for not loving her enough to keep her. BUT when I explained to her she would have to live outdoors here and the place she was going she would have her own room in the house and would no longer have to share a TV, she agreed the new place would be better. She hates sharing a TV.

Too funny. But pretty cool she's getting a new home. Glad cookie is understanding. But not sharing a tv Could be pretty good incentive for a new place. Congrats.
