Went to go see how everyone was tucked in for the night and look what WAS staring right at me under the turkey roost,, no more possum,, scared the begebies, out of the turkeys feathers and birds went flying but they settled down quick enough.. gotta say scared the begebies out of me 2 he was only about 3 ft away when I noticed him.

How did he meet his demise? Or was he frozen to death?

Many of us help predators on to their next reincarnation as a general rule. You may think that you are relocating hoards of them but it is possible that you are relocating the same ones multiple times.

I am guessing it was a horrible accident that got this one, either shovel or bullet wound is my guess.

It's good you saw him! Rabid Possums are almost as bad as my Rabid Guineas! So unpredictable!

Glad you don't live near me....I tracked 3 , that had suddenly appeared in my poultry yard, back to car tracks. They pulled up to the fence and Relocated them by my grandparents old place... no one is going to need to relocate them again

I find my shovel works well for my relication efforts. And they never return.

I am going to be doing that real soon. I will mark the Toms I want to breed, and the rest will be taking that bus trip to camp.
