Heck, I'm too young to remember the Moose Goosers! I did go listen to it.....

So, the robin building the nest on my bathroom window sill made great progress today! Watched her weave plant matter into it then she'd sit in it & move around a bit as if to test the fit. Quite entertaining!

He was a good musician but his lyrics leave something to be desired. I did like Classical Gas which is an instrumental.

Around here the robins do as good a job as they can trying to pack their nests with mud (no mud on a sand dune).

Yes it would :) I love watching wild birds care for their babies.

About 2 years ago, we raised a baby robin else nest was destroyed. "Baby bird" was such a sweet heart and after she flew away, she came back to talk to me occasionally until she found a mate and took off for good.
 
I'm so disappointed. I thought that spring was coming. Snow is almost off of the ground then I look at my weather forecast.
All that I can see is snow, snow, snow. We might get another 6 inches in 2 days. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Aurora....cool story about Baby Bird! Keeping my fingers crossed things go well for Mrs. Robin. Especially since I have ringside seating....so to speak!
 
Keeping the light off as much as possible. Also lowered the blinds. I have one blade of the blinds cocked enough that i can see down into the nest. I'll try to get a picture today. She's working hard on the nest.

Oh that stinks big time! It's snowing here now but I don't think we're supposed to get more than an inch.
