A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Howdy folks, I'm trying to get used to this new set up so bare with me.

I have been meaning to ask this for awhile. Is it possible for turkeys to be developmentally delayed? I ask because Neptune with all of his other problems never has fully matured. He still has a voice of a juvenile, his gobble is babyish, and he still insists on trying to get under our hen's wing. Could it be that because of the other problems he never got the chance to mature?

Finnie, Yup striped head is a del, some of my RIWs are not pure yellow, so not sure what the deal is there (you know what happens when you buy hatching eggs. Maybe some RIR mixed in. We'll See when they get older

Ralphie, I have a deal with my racoons, they stay on their side of the driveway and they don't get escorted to freezer camp. As for opossums, well, they make good compost.

JR, hope your dirt moving adventures are boring today.

Folks, I think I got some Red Bronze will post pix tomorrow, if the sun comes out. I couldn't tell them apart from the Nari's when first hatched--but now several have the brown mixed into their pattern.

Wait do you eat Raccoons?:hmm

Oh and not all white birds hatch out pure white. Some (like white cornish. Not CX) hatch out a silver color and their feathers come in white as snow :D
