A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

They are sure cute Aurora! It will be interesting to see them grow. Your flock is going to be stunning with all the different colors. I still like the mottled birds! We need an updated pic of Romeo!
And poor Annie is still hanging on to that lone tail feather. Her new tail feathers are about 4 inches long. And she has pins poking out everywhere! She is such a mess. I'm trying to get a good molt picture for the contest.

Sigh... last night one of the lil turklets was actin funny at bedtime. Hubby just thought she was tired... it was bedtime right. This mornin she is gone. :/. We had two bronze ladies and they were three or four months old. We already have a pair of grown hens and a tom but were lookin forward to the two littles growin into big girls. We also have four broad breasted whites the same age as the little ladies. Now i wonder how the bronze that is left will do... she and the other lady were always toolin round together and roosted together at night. I guess at least she does have others her age just not her buddy now.

Her whole personality has changed while in molt. Much quieter and rather reserved. Yet she walks up to me & looks up with a sad turkey expression. I feel bad for her. She looks so uncomfortable.
