Thanks Rjohns....I just finished cleaning up from Harvey.....

I've been tracking it and it was supposed to land on me, but they updated the track an hour or two ago. Looking at live radar, I can't see it making that left turn--but they claim it will.

Sounds systemic. Mom is gone or I would ask her. Fatty liver would be enlarged, usually oily and friable, but you said the liver was smallish. Was there any blockage in the digestive tract? I mean, white poop, then clear poop... Was it not eating, or was there something wrong with digestion?

Just to let everyone know....

I received email from @JRNash a few minutes ago.

He is alive and well along with his family.

He said he was wiped out and lost most of his birds. (this is from Harvey)

But his family is is doing well and they are ok.

And he's working!

Was a long weekend..

I am going to guess the turkey ingested something, my first thought was antifreeze or rat/mouse poison. But the squishy crop has me stumped. Did she eat a grease rag?

On other fronts.

I have successfully crossed a turkey with a penguin.

I got an egg today. It looks like a turkey egg, but we all know no turkey is stupid enough to lay an egg less than a week before freeze up in Minnesota. Therefore, it must be half penguin.

I have not gotten an egg in 2-3 months!
