A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Took my dogs in to get bathed and forgot to say they don't need to do the anal gland part. My dogs were so excited on the ride there and just sat complacently on the ride back home. I don't blame them for hating the buttstuff
My baby refused a bath but loved her showers. As long as she was clean I didn't really care.:yesss::oops:

ETA: Then there was the "after shower ritual" where she would purposefully get every piece of furniture wet and roll in my bed.

First thing this morning, while I'm getting the kids ready for school, my daughter came over to me and said that she had a dream that it was just beautiful outside like it was this morning and that out of nowhere, it just started to snow like crazy. She and I both agreed that we're not ready for that. Fast forward to 10am. I look outside and IT'S SNOWING ! I could not believe it. We got about an inch today and the birds not happy. Chickens ran and hid in the coop and turkeys kept going in and out complaining all day. Of course, the geese and ducks are all nuts and were playing in any puddle that happened to still be there from the rain the past few days. :barnie I'm not even remotely ready for this stuff :th

Great Day here..Sunshine and almost 40 degrees! The snow has almost disappeared except for the shady areas...

Their are a few turkeys living dangerously here....all Teens of course. We have a cover we put over the deck during the 3 habitable seasons. It is on a steel frame, we leave up year round, then just slip the canvass on and off....

The young turkeys have found the frame makes a great roost during the day.....So they can sit there and watch the world go by and Poop to their hearts content..

The problem is you all know how the WWD is about turkeys on the deck. She chases them off constantly. I have thought about feeding them on the frame...

Yesterday, there was one looking in the Kitchen window (sitting on deck rail) 2 on the steel frame and 3 RP's on the peak of the roof. I thought I would be taking the WWD to the ER by the time she cleared all those turkeys.....

When she was yelling at the ones on the frame, that little half Nargy came up behind her and was just standing their watching her scold the two...

When she turned around and saw the Nargy...All hades broke loose... The Nargy just stood there wide eyed looking at her like "Huh"?

I love my turkeys!
