A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

(which we caught the next day and released it somewhere else).

Because a hawk released somewhere else could never fly home faster than you could drive home???

Nothin wrong with the new kids necks. They were tryin see me and the hound together. Hahaha. Ms. Myrtle is still givin ME the stink eye... but she wanted corn from the manchild. Brat. Everyone is doin mostly good together. Road runner is the worst of the lot. Guess she must needs tell the new kids that she might be the same size but she is still a queenie comppared to theirselves. And she WILL NOT let tthe lil rp lady near her Cletis. Not three ft near him. She is cchasin her off. And of course all lil lady wants to do is get near him.
beautiful flock... I see why you mentioned the necks... trying to look everywhere at once LOL

R2elk...they have tried to attack cats on three occasions. Each time the cats froze in place with the most horrific looks on their faces. I only wish I had pictures of their expressions. And the girls, upon seeing these cats, immediately displayed, fluffed, dropped wings, lowered heads, and in unison marched toward said cats barking.

My group of 8 turkeys tried to scare away our 60 lb. pit bull mix last weekend. My hub bay was watching too, thankfully. The dog was playing with her toy in the yard and the turkeys got irritated. They gave chase and the dog thought it was great! They were running and playing with her, lol. They soon gave up because the dog is too fast.

My dog is so good around my flock. The young girls will peck her fur consistently, and she will only give them a warning air snap occasionally, and then she will just walk away.

This is why we can't have nice things. This morning, i caught these naughty girls pulling off pieces of mylar and eating them. Arg! I took it down immediately. I'm sure they will be fine, but it's probably not helping their diet...

You are sounding just like the WWD...

She put fake winter flowers and lights in her flower boxes around the deck a week or so ago. I laughed at her for doing it and asked why...

The next day the turkeys had rearranged everything she put in the boxes... They have their own sense of style and they will keep things the way they like them....

I am thinking she over did the decorations as the turkeys seemed to think less in each box looked better.

Haha. Paul had me get ping pong balls to put in water dishes to see if it would help it from freezin.... my reply was the turkeys wont drink any water cause it will be stranger danger shennanigans. His reply... no.. we will be seein turkeys and chickens playin with balls later. :/. My fear is that somehow they swallow one.
