A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Red slate was what desert Marcy told me she sent. (Think that more of them are blue than red)
The images that you have posted all appear to be Red Slate. The possible results of breeding Red Slates together are more Red Slates, Lilacs and Bronzes.

You should post images that include a view from the front and a view from the side. The images should be taken from far enough away that the whole turkey can be seen in the photo. All images should be taken from approximately the same distance and all images need to be in focus for people to attempt to judge the attributes of each turkey.

Here is a picture of Ethel Jr. for you Memphis. I have started marking all my pictures now so you will have to see past the words lol.

Locked up because he likes to kill.

So I just got a new Tom for my 4-hens, now 2-hens and now he is killing chickens. He was raised with chickens before I got him and never was a troublemaker.

He is separated for now... I won't butcher him but is there any reason why he would do this all the sudden??.

They get along with THEIR chicken

My turkeys get along for the most part with the chickens they're with...a chicken hen from another pen got in with the turkeys and the turkeys had her in a corner pecking her head... fortunately I rescued her... but she had a torn comb and neck
