A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

My little teenage Sussex are just so funny! Daisy has a habit of perching on top of their gate in anticipation of our pre-bed stroll. This evening there was a little Sussex perched on either side of her. Too cute. But as soon as I come out of the backdoor Daisy flies toward me. No chance for a picture....darn!

Ralph...your turkeys don't attack cats? I've had to back my girls off cats they had cornered three times...so far. They don't even hesitate. They immediately go into attack mode.

Nope, the cats wander freely amongst the chickens, turkeys and dogs....It is one strange relationship of animals that are suppose to be enemies.

My turkeys protect my barn cat from the house cat who decided the barn cat was not good enough to stay in the house (bully). At least Cindy the barn cat has some large, warm friends.
