No snow here yet.
Was 68 when I got up yesterday. Temp dropped all day with rain.

34 when I got up this morning. Rain thunder and temps dropping. Now we are under a ice storm warning. Calling for 14 degrees tonight with -2 wind chills.

It was -20°F when I got up. The wind and snow had stopped but now the wind is coming from the west and the temperature has shot up to -2°F. Snow drifts all over the place too. The sun is shining for the first time in three days.

glad to hear the sun is out! i bet its pretty!

I love this picture of her!

I was sitting outside earlier on the bench in our yard and Mister decided to come up and sit with me. He is rivaling Romeo for friendliness! He would've crawled up on my lap if I'd have left him but he had muddy feet. He just leaned against me, soaked up the attention, and played with my hair. He did bite my ear (he has a habit of that). I'm hoping that he learns that the love and attention ends every time he does that. His little love nibble hurts!

Rjohns...I was in the yard with the girls & my hound was on the other side of the fence bouncing up & down. Being a goofy pup. BIG goofy pup. She walked up to the fence & every feather she owns went up. I swear she's dog aggressive!
Aurora....nothing better than hanging with big ole sweet turkeys! Daisy got her lap time this evening. She hops in my lap, I scratch her head, she goes to sleep. You can feel her whole body relax. She's a big baby!

Rjohns....you guys getting some of this rain? We are supposed to get over 6 inches starting tonight. Blah! Looked like Feedman is getting a load too.

Both my little Sussex are laying. Had two little poulet eggs in the nest box. Still NO turkeys eggs. Weird! My girls are slacking!!

We're supposed to freeze over again on Thursday. We have one more day of high 60's to enjoy then it's back to Winter again

You just reminded me! I've been meaning to get a picture of this little fairy egg that I got from my Serama pen lol. Eggs are turkey, California grey, serama, and the fairy egg.

We got one of those last week. I just laughed! Cause our ladies are almost a year and we didnt get any when they started layin. I put it in my pain doc’s eggs. She has grandbabies that love our turkey eggs cause they are “so so big and speckly gran”. .... cannot wait to see how they liked the wee one. I just wonder if it had a yoke in it or not.
