Indeed, though Rosabelle lays the largest eggs, her best buddy Annabelle, a burbon red hen, lays eggs that fit snugly into the jumbo cartons. It seems the average is a tad bigger than chicken jumbo eggs. That's what I save for hatching, and so far I've only for sure lost one poult at pip of 19 eggs, with 12 successful hatched out
