Well Happy Halloween folks. Getting ready to dress Daisy & Annie in there Wonder Woman & Super Girl costumes. We need to Trick or Treat early since they have such an early bedtime. They are hoping for lots of meal worms and BOSS. And to eat as much pumpkin as they can along the way!!

I'm actually up in Missouri at my "other" house. The girls better be tucked into their coop asleep! Getting ready to do the tour in the historical graveyard. Folks dress up & pretend to be dead people. Its always funny. Perfect spooky night. Not too cold and sort of misty. The guy that built my house in 1820 is buried there. Guess I'll stop by for a vist. We are all meeting prior for cocktails which always makes it more entertaining!

We've been busy the last few days. DH and I are deliberating about the number of turkey hens I'm going to get. He says none, I say 3. But I'll settle for two.which is the best to start with?

We've been busy the last few days. DH and I are deliberating about the number of turkey hens I'm going to get. He says none, I say 3. But I'll settle for two.which is the best to start with?

I like to keep four to five hens for each tom. If you have one tom it would be better to get three hens rather than two.

Do you guys feel that 6 hens for one tom is too many or would he be able to handle that many just fine?
