A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

And! I see so many people tryin get rid of birds.... not for human consumption.... and try micro manage HOW their birds live. I just laugh. Esp when the ad says somethin to the effect of i have tenlebenty roos needin a new good pet home... yep. I can pet them quite well in my freezer silly human! I will even name em for ya.... eenie, meenie, miney and mo!

Lots of rain & storms last night. Got only one group of kids before the storms rolled in. Its normally warm enough here that folks will sit outside & vist as the kids scoop up tons of candy. It's such a fun time for the kids, hate the weather ruined it. And now I have a ton of candy staring at me! Off to work it goes!!
And till raining this morning. Ugg. Coonhound took one look out the back door, turned around & went back to bed. What a bum!

Looks like we're in line for a good bit of it too :/ I agree with @rjohns39, did you really need to share @memphis? We've had enough rain this year for at least 3 years :/

Is anyone here familiar with turkey forcefeeding(overfeeding)? Here in eastern Europe our elders used to force feed toms with whole wallnuts to give the bird a better taste and fat. They used to give the bird one wallnut in first day, 2 wallnuts in second, 3 in third...up to 30 wallnuts after 30 days. I`d like to learn more about.

Well mine are pets...free range during the day. Feed in their pens. So no force feeding. Will walnuts really change the taste?
