I have always been a big supporter of global warming. In historical periods of “global-warming-past,” great advances of civilization have occurred (because of not having to spend every moment on mere survival).

When I was in high school we were terrorized by threats of a new ice age. It was the firm conviction of “science” that the impending invasion of the glaciers was inexorable fact, nothing we could do about it. I’m glad they were wrong. “Oh wait!!! “Science” cannot be wrong!!!” You say? Anyone who believes this is either young, indoctrinated, or just isn’t paying attention (or a combination of the foregoing). Science is very frequently wrong. Especially politicized “science.”

I also grew up in the era of the impending ice age destroying life on earth..BUT I was in grade school (that was back in the 50's when the pledge of allegiance was required every morning and prayer before noon lunch...I am almost as old as the dinosaurs...

I am very suspicious myself. 2 0f those 6 look very much non-SS like.... I am wonder who got into the pen and when..Hoover is high on my list of suspects.

Ralphie, I'm still trying to figure out how the hamburg got to both the Delawares and the leghorns. He was NEVER out of the bachelor pad when I checked.

They can be tricky little guys...almost as hard to keep them in line as it was my daughter as a teen...My son took after me so he was perfect.

Well the evidence was clear... He got to the girls, when he wasn't supposed to. But I never figured out how. I ended up with some beautiful birds that I couldn't use in my breeding program and the cockerels were just gorgeous.

Mine aren't technically due till Saturday but my poults always hatch a day early.

I just found a "Marans" chick that has a pea comb, Wich means that my lavender ameraucana roo got to one of the girls :/
