A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Ok, makes sense. Redd got used to all the attention from Dumpling, and apparently doesn't want to share him with Cobalt. She was pecking at them while they were busy, then was displaying after they got done. And Cobalt was pulling Redd's head feathers when she and Dumpling were busy earlier in the day.
Yes that is all normal including the strutting.

They say its clearing up and the sun is coming out today....

We had freezing rain yesterday and regular rain so far today. Lots of fog. We're supposed to have a cold front move in today with heavy winds and a big temp drop :/

I had 8 turkey poults hatch on Friday. I'm done setting eggs until some these chicks and poults get sold. Nobody seems to be buying this year. At least so far. I moved Eve and Cynthia back to the main turkey coop today. They seemed miserable in the chicken coop. Whatever pure babies I get from here on out is all I'm getting. I'll probably move Lil back too and put Tommy and Mister together for now. I think those two boys may go in the freezer.... Maybe

I predict folks will be looking for chickens/turkeys once this weather stabilizes a bit. Seems every few days there is some weather catastrophe. Folks are too busy buying milk & bread at the grocery vs looking for live poultry. The weatherdorks had us believing we were going to be blown off the map yesterday. We got a bunch of rain....but it was not nearly as bad as they had been talking about for the last week.

I agree
although we are getting blown of the map last night and today

That is normal weather here.
