Had one of Jackie's eggs for dinner. It's fertile. Might have to put some in the incubator after the quail hatch.

R2elk...what a handsome boy! Can't show his picture to the girls! They would book flights to Wyoming!

Speaking of the girls....they are so funny. They showed up on my backporch yelping right at the time I usually show up to take them for a walk. As I came out of the door they ran, well...maybe walked fast, to the gate. All ready for a walk. A good time was had by all.

My turkeys are being really sticking indoors. I spent nearly 2 hours fixing the bird netting over the pens. A group of 6-8 sat in the rafters watching me work.

One of them was on a ledge about 6 ft above the pens.. I had tighten 4 pens and was doing the 5th when she jumps down onto the newly tighten trampoline.. it needs to be tightened again.

Stupid birds...
