Hey one of the yellow ones has an eye that is bulging out on one side, it's cloudy and he closes that eye a lot. Should I cull or let it go? It's got one good eye. If it grows up I can still eat such a turkey.

I would cull just to make sure that whatever the cause is it cannot spread. It is possible that it is genetics but it might be from something else.Hey one of the yellow ones has an eye that is bulging out on one side, it's cloudy and he closes that eye a lot. The one in the front in the second picture looks like a slate. If it came from one of your 7 out of 26 fertile eggs, it would be a Tri-Color Mottled Slate.I think I see a blue one in there too! One blue and one black baby! I'll be moving them out today into the brooder
It is also possible to get a Sweetgrass from that combination. If female the poult will be pure Sweetgrass, if male it will be carrying a hidden Narragansett gene.I think I may have gotten some Royal palms from Rosabelle and the red bronze, who is half royal Palm and half burbon red. There may also be a very light looking burbon red? Looks like 5 red bronze babies.View attachment 1774105 View attachment 1774106 View attachment 1774108 View attachment 1774110 View attachment 1774111
