A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

It's going to be a hot one today. Not as bad as some of you have had but got for here. Humidity is at 96%. It's only 77° now but supposed to get in the 90's with a real feel of over 100. I'm heading out to pick up feed now but when I get back, we're packing up a lunch and heading to the lake for a few hours. I did manage to steal my laptop back btw so pictures later :)

It's 9:32am and the temp is 90.5. Will be spending the day spraying turkeys and changing water. Not sure whether to make them stay in the shed today or just watch them. The heat doesn't seem to bother the chickens hardly at all. The ducks stay under the camper.

To top it off, my water supply is mysteriously turning itself on and off. Doesn't seem to be a breaker problem, but hey - what do I know? Son is supposed to stop by and check it, although I am not sure what that will do since he's on his way camping. smh. I have extra water in barrels, but geesh, I expect that water is NOT cool.

My sprinkler is set up. Son is checking water system (well) to see if he can figure out what the problem is. In the meantime, I guess I will run it until it goes dry on me.

I still rather have summer than winter, though.

I kind of like spring and fall.. I would rather have 40 below than 100 above
