If I had a goose who was hanging around my farm... and wanted to make sure he left..

I would not feed him or get him a couple domestic hen geese to hang out with him...

definitely not.. he would never leave then.. and I would want him gone

Girls sure enjoyed the sun today. I think it made a difference in their mood....they just seemed happy. Not that I have moody turkeys. Oh who am I kidding....I have a bunch of teenagers...y'all know how that can be!!

so that’s where all the geese went that the Feds stole my farm to make a goose refuge out of...


I knew they had to be near by because none live in the refuge.

Lol had about 150 of them hanging in my Western hayfield all of yesterday. TBH I'm ok with them leaving lots of fertilizer since I don't have the money to apply any real stuff, and that field is stuck on a yearly lease with the probability of losing the lease after sewer line goes in nearby is pretty high, which is happening within 10 years.
So poop goose, poop!

Slowly warming up. Going to be in the mid 60's here by Christmas. Crazy weather.

Daisy got an early Christmas present! A box of homemade cookies from one of the kids on the street. Too cute! Actually, it was her first time baking cookies with her Grandma & she wanted to share some with Daisy. Obviously Daisy will never get her beak on them....yum!! She came to the door with the cookies....Grandma standing behind her trying hard not to laugh. I asked her if I could try one...she told me they were for Daisy. Gee...thanks kid!

That's if Daisy knew about them...I'm not telling her. I appreciate my tolerant neighbors....but I get totally ignored in favor of the turkeys. I may be developing a complex of some sort.
