He is just starting to get his colors. His browns are more a pale tan and his white mottling is still few and far between.

I find the pinks and golds show best in the morning sunlight. I suspect that it has to do with the angle of the sunshine as it hits the feathers. I got to see a brief flash of teal blue this morning.

You need to watch Iris closer. I would be surprised if she does not have some iridescence since she is a Penciled Palm. It will show up in brief flashes in her flank and possibly back feathers.
