Which would be a good time to do impacted crop surgery:gig
 
Hen with surgery doing very well. No redness or swelling, wants to eat more than I want to give her. Feeding her a soft diet of mashed boiled eggs with plain whole milk yogurt and she's getting electrolytes in her water. She gets one egg mashed with 2 tbs yogurt every few hours, and I'm checking her crop to make sure she isn't stressing it. She's really perked up since surgery! I may sprinkle some poultry crumbles in there later on, get them good and soaked. So far, looks like she is going to make it!

Slop fell all day and tonight and tomorrow.....then maybe 6" of snow Saturday
