I like food best. It does not clutter up my house and food never makes me feel guilt for being a gift I feel like I should keep in perpetuity for the sake of not upsetting friends and relatives. Nothin says lovin like something from the oven!

We checked on everyone this morning and the 3 bronze were all in the same dust bath hole enjoying the sunshine while Snoodles was still exploring and chasing flies!!!! I may have to attempt some pics or video tonight.

I'm home!!! Felt like my husband and I was on the road for a month. Was a ruff trip. Any ways I made my turkeys a nice cool snack. Frozen fruit mix with frozen mixed vegetables. I even added a few cans of vegetable soup I had laying around. The soup is less salt.Even though it's for the turkeys they must share with the ducks and chickens. I have tried to just feed my turkeys special treats but it never works out. Every one wants some. So I make sure I fix alot now.
My son just walked by the bowl that I have it all in and said what the heck is that? Lol. Does not look appetizing for sure..

Food is a great gift but my son still lives at home and doesn't have a job as of yet.. witch is fine because he takes care for all my animals and the house cleaning.

The kids are doing good. Kept the one female and then kept the little male that almost died. Named them Harper and Asher.

I took a funny video of my ex-broody hen trying to "adopt" them... except I guess she doesnt know what a mom is supposed to do. I'll try to upload it somewhere and post it.

Just curious... have any of you ever had an exclusive mated pair of turkeys where the tom and hen don’t mate anyone else? I know it isn’t common, I mostly am just curious to see if it has ever existed.

The closest that I have to that is a tom that in the spring will only breed his favorites. He eventually will breed all the hens but not until his favorites go broody.
