Toms found a fawn in the poultry yard. They ignored it once it got up.
There's 2 does hanging around.
It looks bigger than it is. I was shooting uphill.

I wonder how so many Fall Fires are going feral, enough that they are commonly enough shot and reported.
They aren’t that common of a variety, are they?
More are being produced by wild hens mating with domestic toms. It happens more frequently than people think.
 
I hope more hunters get the message, but really once the birds go feral I guess it doesn't really matter. It is definately nice that he admitted that domestic and wild turkeys are the same species, because they sure are! lol. My birds have some decendents among the local wilds, because of wild hens coming, and also because I know that several folks that have bought birds have had a few go feral.
