taking porter by himself at 1st will prob be best for both me and him,, im sure i will be nervous with him at 1st,, when i was at Ralphies the turkeys were in the path of the front door and i made a WIDE circle around them to get to the door.. them are some BIG birds...they all looked like they wanted to eat me...
 
Ralphie, you should post a pic of Porter,,my Boyfriend (giggle giggle) wants to see him... Sorry all i haven't had a boyfriend for 31 years.. i was married at 17 married for 28 years... my husband died 3 years ago so this dating thing is actually fun.. Ive been lucky in my life to have found 2 guys that have truly loved me... Im just that Special of a woman...LOL...
 
Coffee....you know Porter is famous! He's on Kevin Porters site! That's a huge deal for us turkey folks! And you cannot be intimidated by him. They are so sweet! They really bond with people! Their temperaments are a lot different from chickens. Your going to love having turkeys!

So...does the boyfriend like turkeys? My husband died 20 something years ago. In his 30's. I've been there....sigh. So I'm excited to see all these great things happening in your life!

I can pretty much guarantee that the last thing they wanted was to eat you..... look at you, check out what you are doing, talk to you, tell you what they think of your fashion sense, see where you are going, poke at you to see what happens - yes! I think you'll love them once you get used to their size, I don't even see it anymore :lol: You'll have turkeys underfoot all the time once they get to know you :rolleyes: They like to "help" with whatever you are doing....

Very happy for you, finding love again! Sounds like lots of good stuff happening for you :)
 
It was passable, but beings it is now Monday it is a moot point.

I shall be making a trip to the local resupplying store today. I will make sure I have enough to make it through a couple cold snaps.

I have to admit the drink look pretty. It was an ice filled glass with clear liquid on the bottom half, then a layer of red cinnamon liqueur topped with a blue layer of Peppermint liqueur.

It was so pretty I could not drink it until I stirred it.

Went out on Sunday to pick up some new inmates. The lady only had one female left and so that she wouldn't be lonely I also got the remaining small male. Female is probably 7-9 months old and the male is a couple months younger. Actually I have no clue on there ages and those are just complete guesses. Pictures are included.



THE NEW DIGS being moved to it's location. (Ralphie will appreciate the paint scheme)





The New Inmates. (Not positive on breed but RP and Sweetgrass are in there). The male is the muddy one as we have been having a nutter butter load of rain lately.
