I have 2 genesis 1588's and love them. You set and forget them till hatch.

I dry hatch so I just make sure my humidity is between 25-35% till day 18 then boost it to about 60% for AL.

Alabama. You can but you will likely have to add a slightly damp wash cloth to get the humidity to 25-35%.

oh yea. duh! sorry lol so at lockdown on turkey eggs for dry hatch is only 60%? but on a regular hatch is as 80%?

They have changed the humidity at lock down for most studies. But I would not go over 60% humidity. Even on the Hatch a long threads they will say to use 60%. But some sites still will say 100% and that will kill the chicks.

Ralph- Babies are so cute!! Good luck with the BBB and BBW. Our BBB (turkey dinner) is such a character. It is going to be hard to eat that one...

On the topic of my other two being male or female:

The Lavender is getting bigger that the Chocolate. It's snood (the lavender) is growing bigger. It kicks it's legs when you flip it over.
The Chocolate is a bit smaller, slightly more docile. Holds it's legs in when you flip it over.

So, really I have no idea, but I am going with Banshee (the lavender) being a tom and Tomahawk (the chocolate) being a hen. Only time will tell, but for now that is my guess.
